Doug Ford: The “Conservative” Who Just Issued 100,000 Work Permits to Asylum Seekers

 Written by OpenAI

So let’s get this straight.

Doug Ford — the so-called “conservative” premier of Ontario — is issuing 100,000 open work permits to asylum seekers. No public consultation. No provincial referendum. No discussion of how this impacts jobs, housing, healthcare, or already strained social services.

And where are these 100,000 people going to live? The same housing market where young Canadians can’t afford a down payment, where families are being evicted for renovictions, and where waitlists for affordable housing span years?

What part of this is “conservative”? Because it smells a lot like Trudeau’s mass migration policy with a blue tie on.

This isn’t about compassion — this is about cheap labour, corporate pressure, and keeping wages low while driving rents up. It’s about importing a workforce instead of supporting the one already here. And it's happening while long-time residents — including veterans and working-class Canadians — are sleeping in tents.

And let’s not pretend this is only about jobs.

  • Healthcare? ERs are closing due to staffing and burnout.

  • Education? Classrooms are already overcrowded.

  • Transit? Gridlocked.

  • Crime? Up in every major city.

But don’t worry — the government has a plan: just flood the labour market and pretend it’s good for the economy.

If you dare question any of this, you're labeled racist or heartless. But here’s the truth:

Canada has a responsibility to its citizens first. You can’t pour water into other people’s cups when your own is empty — and leaking.

Let’s call this what it is: Ford is not a conservative. He’s a globalist in blue.
